The project

Metalsan was involved in the construction of the prestigious Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino by Norman Foster. The 50m diameter roof, reinforced with carbon fibre, is the largest plate roof in the world.Our company had the pleasure of manufacturing the 30 tonnes of structural elements connecting the roof and the façade system. The precision of the manufacturing allowed for a rapid installation of the glazing system, to the full satisfaction of the end customer.
